Let me begin by saying that Hannah and Jesse are amazing. They live in New York near Buffalo - you guys, they were willing to drive into another country to meet me to do an adventure engagement session while I was near Toronto for work. They had never met me in person before, nor had any of us explored around the Ontario/Toronto area previously.

I'm so thankful that they trusted me having said all of the above! Shooting their session was honestly life-altering. I had done sessions and editorial shoots before where it did require some hiking and exploration, but never in such an unknown and truly adventurous way. They were troopers; we were ankle deep in mud paths, balancing on rocks to get over water, and there might have been some boundary fence hopping... shhh! There is something about adding true adventure into sessions that make them feel more - more authentic, more daring, more worry-free, more honest, more breathtaking.

Since their session I've done a lot of re-evaluating of what I want my photography business to become in the future and the kind of lifestyle/brand I want to live and promote. Adventure-lifestyle-travel photography is definitely on the horizon and although I can't reveal too much at the moment, I know that there will be so many more adventurous couples in front of my camera in the future.
